Recently, due to the recent cold weather, customers have feedback that ARS hand saw has broken blades, which has attracted the attention of our shop technicians. After the analysis of product breakage by our shop technicians, the result of identification is that the broken blades caused by improper use of the products do not belong to product quality problems. So how to use the product is the normal use of which? In order to avoid the damage caused by the novice's unknown product characteristics, we will briefly introduce the ARS brand and the use of ARS handsaw.

  ARS Company, founded in 1876, is a comprehensive enterprise specializing in the production of horticultural tools. Most of its products are made of high-carbon tool steel materials, integrated with cutting technology, and widely used in agriculture, forestry, horticulture, hardware and other industries in more than 50 countries and regions of the world.
  Since ARS started to develop and produce tobacco cutters in 1876, with the accumulation of production technology experience, the production scale and product types are also increasing.
  In the 1950s, while ARS knife and scissors products were widely recognized in the market, ARS broke through the traditional manufacturing technology of hand saw, studied and equipped with related grinding machinery, developed conical grinding saw blades and linear saw teeth for the first time, and quickly applied to the 210 DX folding hand saw for mass production, and the "DX" series was born.
  In the 1970s, ARS took the lead in introducing "pulse hardening" (high temperature quenching) equipment into product production. The hardness of the product can reach: HV900~HV1000 (the hardness of the general commodity at that time was HV450~HV750). P-18 zigzag is the classic style of high temperature quenched serrated hand saw at that time and has been leading the derivation until now.
  In the 1980s, ARS Company promoted office automation technology and introduced CNC grinder computer control system to make the product performance more stable. After the introduction of a series of measures such as technology accumulation, process innovation and equipment updating, the "pull saw" with ARS trademark grinding blade and linear saw began to be popular in the world. Since then, ARS conical saw blade, curve grinding saw blade, UV toothed saw blade, three-edged saw blade and so on have been representing the super-high level of high-end garden fresh branch saw, but also gradually changing people's habit of using "push saw" for a long time, so that many users avoid the trouble of often dialing the saw teeth.

  ARS is constantly trying to innovate in the shape, alveolar structure and pitch of saw teeth, but the material of saw blades has always been high carbon tool steel, and the alignment of saw teeth has always been linear, that is, the thickness of teeth is the same as that of saw blanks. Saw blades are grinded thinly and matched with different coatings in order to reduce resistance in the later stage according to the need - formally because of these inherent characteristics of ARS saw, it will be sharper, more durable and easier to maintain in use. But things have two sides, and it is precisely these characteristics that lead to ARS saw toughness is not so soft, less tough than the general steel/iron saw on the market, relatively brittle, not so high bendability, once beyond its toughness endurance range, it may collapse.

  So please remember that ARS saws are all pull saws. When using them, pull back hard. When pushing forward, don't push hard. Just go with the tide. Pushing too hard may break the front of the saw blade! It will not break the saw if it is pulled hard in normal use. Saw blade fracture is basically, push too hard to break!
